THE SECOND WORLD WAR

A visit to your school from soldier from WW2. A soldier from the Second World War will visit your class to run a workshop to teach your children and help them learn about life in Britain during the Blitz. We will use artefacts, drama, roleplay, dressing up and storytelling to bring history to life!
Topics include: World War II – Why and Where? The Battle of Britain; The Blitz and Air Raid Precautions; Drill with the Home Guard. Evacuation; Rationing; Training to be a spy; The Holocaust (sensitively!)
